GAME ONE NOTES
- Mizzou scored the first point of the match with a kill by Na Yang and MU opened Game 1 with a 7-1 run.
- Nebraska fought back to tie the score at 17. MU would retake the lead with a kill by Lisa Boyd. The teams would continue to trade points, seeing the score tied at 18 all and again at 19 all.
- NU took its first lead of the game at 20-19. The Huskers scored three-straight points to take a 22-19 lead. It lead by as many as five at 28-23 and won the game by four (30-26).
- Boyd and Yang each had four kills in the opening game for MU and Nicole Wilson had three.
- The loss in game one was the first game Mizzou has lost at home this season. The last game the Tigers lost in the Hearnes Center prior to Wednesday was against Louisville in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
- The game was just the fourth game Missouri had lost this season, three of which have been game ones.
GAME TWO NOTES
- For the second time in two games, Missouri jumped out to an early lead, scoring the first six points of game two and building an 11-2 to open the game.
- The Tigers led by as many as eleven (22-11).
- The 22 points scored by Nebraska in game two is the lowest point total in a game by the Huskers this season. Their previous low was 25 in game four against Minnesota on September 5.
- Missouri held Nebraska to just a .041 hitting percentage in the second game. The Cornhuskers entered the match with the best hitting percentage in the Big 12 (.375).
- The game-two win was the first game MU had won over the Huskers at home since the 2001 season.
- Na Yang had four kills for the second-straight game to lead the Tigers.
GAME THREE NOTES
- Nebraska led by as many as four (15-11), but MU rallied to tie the game at 19.
- Game three featured nine ties, the last coming at 22-22, before the Huskers scored five-straight points and finished the game on a 8-1 run to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
- Na Yang once again had four kills in the game, tying Nicole Wilson for the team lead in game four.
GAME FOUR NOTES
- Shen Danru's ace in game four made her the all-time record holder at Missouri with 164 career aces, passing Yvette Buhlig (163 from 1988-92). Danru finished with two aces on the night taking her career total to 165.
- Later in game four, Danru joined Buhlig atop the career kills list at MU with 1,478 for her career.
- Leading 13-12, Mizzou four-consecutive points to build a 17-12 lead.
- The Tigers lead by as many as six at 21-15 before the Huskers went on a 5-1 lead to cut the lead to two.
- Trailing by three, Nebraska scored three-straight points to tie the game at 25. It would take the lead with a four-straight point.
- The Huskers closed the game with a 9-3 run to close out the match.
MATCH NOTES
- The attendance of 7,298 is a new school record and is the 11th best crowd to attend a volleyball match in the nation this season. In the five previous home matches this season, MU had a total of 6,205 fans in attendance.
