Coming off a third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, the University of Missouri baseball team will open up its Fall 2005 schedule with the Black and Gold Game at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14 at Taylor Stadium. The intersquad game will give Tiger fans their first chance to see the 2005-06 Mizzou Baseball team in action.
The team has been split into two teams, as drafted by the coaches of the respective teams. Roster will be announced next week.
Following the Black and Gold Game, Missouri will hold its annual Fall World Series, starting with game one at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19. For the complete Fall World Series schedule, click here
The Black and Gold game and all games of the Fall World Series are free and open to the public.
The Tigers are coming off another trip to the NCAA Tournament last spring, which capped of a 40-23 season. Tim Jamieson enters his 12th season as the Missouri head coach.
