
Tigers Overpower Wildcats, 79-69

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Jason Conley scored 20 points and Rickey Paulding had 17 as Missouri beat Kansas State 79-69 on Saturday, sweeping the Wildcats for the third straight year.
Missouri (15-10, 9-5 Big 12) rallied from a 10-point deficit to win its sixth straight of the season and its seventh straight over Kansas State (12-13, 4-10).
With the Tigers trailing 39-31, Paulding dunked over Frank Richards with 17:07 to go in the game. Richards was called for a foul, sending Wildcat fans into an uproar.
Paulding completed the three-point play, igniting a run that put Missouri up 48-40 with 12:39 to go. Paulding scored nine points during the stretch.
The Wildcats trimmed the lead to three, but Paulding hit a 3-pointer with 11:05 left and the Wildcats never got closer.
The Tigers were 11-of-23 from 3-point range.
Arthur Johnson scored 14 points and Travon Bryant added 10 for the Tigers.
Jeremiah Massey led Kansas State with 17 points and nine rebounds, Jarrett Hart had 14 and Richards scored 10.
Frank Richards sparked a 6-0 run that give the Wildcats a 35-28 lead at halftime.
