Alisha Robinson earned Big 12 Gymnast of the Week honors for her performance at the Mizzou Invitational last Saturday. Robison bested six all-around competitors to win the 2004 Mizzou Invitational. The junior scored a 39.650 to tie her previous Missouri record and added her second meet scoring three marks of 9.9 or above to the season.

Scoring a 9.925 on the vault and balance beam and a 9.950 on the floor exercise, Robinson picked up four first-place event finishes overall. Earning a 9.850 on the uneven bars, the junior tied for third.

Robinson's 9.925 on vault boosts the junior to an eighth-place national ranking. She is averaging a 9.914 on the event and owns a 9.930 Regional Qualifying Score. The junior is ranked second in the South Central Region.
