Federal Way, Wash. - Competing against close to 900 other swimmers from around the world, two Missouri Tigers were able to place in the top-15 in their respective events to earn a spot to compete in the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Junior Matt North, who had already qualified this past summer to compete in the '04 Olympic Trials in the 200-meter breaststroke qualified this past weekend for the Olympic Trials in the 100-meter breaststroke with his time of 1:05.47.
Senior Rebecca Wolfe added her own top-15 finish in the 200-meter butterfly qualifying her for the '04 Olympic Trials as well.
North and Wolfe will compete in the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials July 7-14 in Long Beach, California.
