Columbia, Mo.-Gearing up for the 2004 gymnastics season in January, the Mizzou Tigers are ready to test themselves on the arena floor. Hosting its annual Black & Gold intersquad scrimmage, Missouri plans to give spectators a taste of the exciting season to come.
Backed by an impressive 2003 season where Missouri set and reset the record books, the Tigers have spent the pre-season heightening their already thrilling routines. Bolstered by a corps of seasoned veterans, including All-Big 12 athletes Lindsay Davis, Alisha Robinson and Lauren Schwartzman, the Tigers look to further their strides in 2004.
Rounding out the fall training session, Mizzou welcomes fans to the Hearnes Center on Sun., Dec. 7 at 2:00 p.m., to catch all the action of the Black & Gold meet. The event is open to the public.
The Tigers open the 2004 regular season hosting Big 12 rival Iowa State on Sun., Jan. 11 at 2:00 p.m. Individual meet tickets are available along with the season ticket package offered through the Mizzou Spirit Pass. For more information please contact the Hearnes Center Ticket Office at 884-PAWS.
