Q: How do you think the preseason Brazil trip has helped prepare the team for this season?
A: "The competition was so good out there. It made us improve both physically and mentally in the game. It was a great experience. We became so much closer. Getting to know the freshman was really helpful."

Q: What was the highlight of the trip for you?
A: "The beach. I have never been to a beach like that. The waves were huge. We all got to go together and we played soccer on the beach. It was a relaxing day between games."

Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: "I want to improve my goal average and my defense. Defensively last year we gave up a lot of goals. We were not strong defensively. Individually I want to improve that. Our defense has improve a lot and I want to keep up my individual role."

Q: What are your expectations for the team this season?
A: "We want to make NCAA. We know we can. We have eight games left and that is a lot of games for us to come back. For our seniors that have never made, it's there turn. We want it really bad for them."

Q: What is the hardest part of being a college athlete?
A: "The physicalness. Coming out of high school it is not physical at all. Also, the demand you put on your body. You never experience anything like this day in and day out."
