Q: How was the trip to Brazil?
A: "It was an awesome experience. It was great to be in a part of the world where soccer is the main sport and it's so well supported. Each of the teams that we played had phenomenal skills and it really helped us improve."
Q: What are your expectations for this season?
A: "We have high epectations for ourselves this year. We all as individuals want to improve our skills and awarenes on the field and we want to continue to make strides toward our postseason goals with each game."
Q: Being from Columbia how does it feel to be a part of the Mizzou program that you grew up watching?
A: "It's a great feeling to be a part of the collegiate program that I grew up cheering on. I've been a fan since the inagural season when I was a ball girl, so it's really an honor to be playing at this level with a program I grew up watching."
Q: What's the hardest thing about being a student-athlete?
A: "I wouldn't say that it's hard because not everyone has this opportunity, but I would say that it's a step up from high school athletics. The amount of time that has to be put in increases and the workouts are harder but it's worth it once you see it all come together on the field."
Q: What's it like playing with your high school teammates, Mallory Ames and Melissa Griggs?
A: "We've been playing together since we were 12, so we know each other well. We each knew that we were going to look at Mizzou but when it came down to decisions we each made our own and it just worked out that we all came here."
