Q: How do you think the preseason trip to Brazil has helped prepare the team for this season?
A: "The trip brought us closer together as a team. It was a bonding experience and I learned a lot about a different culture. I realized that it doesn't matter what language you speak we all shared the universal language of soccer."
Q: What was the highlight of the trip for you?
A: "Hanging out with the girls and sightseeing."
Q: What are you expecting from your freshman season?
A: "Success. I want to grow mentally and physically."
Q: What does Coach Blitz expect from you this season?
A: "Coach expects 100 percent regardless if you are a starter or non-starter."
Q: What are your expectations for the team this season?
A: "We can definitely go all the way to the NCAA Tournament. We have the talent, we just need to use it and stay positive."
Q: What has been the hardest part of adjusting to collegiate sports?
A: "The level of commitment and the level of play. The expectations are a lot higher than they were for me before."
Q: Two of your high school teammates also came to MU. Did this have any impact on your decision?
A: "It really didn't impact my decision. I knew we were all looking at Mizzou, but we all made our decisions separately."
