University of Missouri tennis player Urska Juric was named Big 12 tennis Player of the Week by the conference earlier today. Juric is 5-0 in singles play and is also 5-0 in doubles play with her partner Katka Sevcikova.

Juric won both of her singles matches this past weekend over Marie Louis Frolich-Hansen of Louisville 6-4, 7-5 and Dominique Lemperle of Colorado 6-2, 6-7, 6-1. Her and Sevcikova dispatched of the Colorado doubles pair of Lemperle and Lia Dimingo of Colorado 8-4. Juric is currently ranked 27th in the nation in singles and her and Sevcikova are ranked 4th in the nation in doubles. The Tigers as a team are ranked 43rd in the nation.

The Tigers are in action next this weekend in Texas as they face Baylor on Saturday and Texas Tech on Sunday.
