Mizzou Cheerleaders Place 10th at National Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo.- For the first time in school history, the cheerleading squads from the University of Missouri reached the finals at the National Cheerleaders Association Cheer and Dance Collegiate Championships this past weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla. The Missouri coed squad finished in 10th place while the all women's squad came in ninth place in the Division I competition.
"The kids represented the University with great pride," said coach Suzy Thompson.
The competition will is scheduled to air on national television on CBS on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m.
