Hughes still huge
Another ex-Tiger is still getting his name out there. Three-time All-American Ray Hughes recently won the 4K at the 2002 Seattle Open Cross Country Classic. His time (12:47) was a meet record.
On a global scale
Three men's throwers not only make the list of nationally ranked athletes, but are rated in the world. Christian Cantwell is ranked seventh in the world in the shot put and 8th in the weight throw. Also in the weight throw, Micah Shanks and Russ Bell are ranked 11th and 17th, respectively in the world.
