
Missouri Takes Eleventh at Longhorn Classic

The University of Missouri women's golf team finished in eleventh place at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic in Austin, Texas. The Tigers finished with a three-round total of 986 led by junior Elin Ohlsson who finished with a three-round total of 228. She finished in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings.
Missouri shot rounds of 334 and 329 on Tuesday to go along with a 323 it carded in Monday's opening round. Duke won the tournament with a score of 920.
Ohlsson had rounds of 73, 79 and 76 to finish ten strokes behind the medallist Janice Olivencia of Texas.
Freshman Maria Ohlsson finished tied for 45th with a total score of 246 (85-79-82) and senior Nisha Sadekar shot a 254 (78-89-87) to finish in 64th place. Freshman Mindy Bullard and sophomore Tara Jacobsen shot 264 and 267 respectively for the Tigers.
