Tigers Close Practice On A Good Note

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri baseball team closed practice Tuesday looking ready to open the 2002 season. Missouri will travel to Arizona on Wednesday and begins the 2002 season against Washington Thursday night.
To close the practice session, Missouri went through various team offense and team defense situations, particularly with runners on first base and third base. The team took batting practice on Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field.
The MU coaching staff felt the team worked well in its final day of preparations.
