COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri baseball team got a pair of strong pitching performances during Monday's intrasquad game held in the Devine Pavilion. Drew Endicott (Jr., Carthage) and Garrett Bauer (So., Ballwin) each lasted six innings and battled to a 1-1 tie.
"Both pitchers achieved their goal of building up to 100 pitches," said MU assistant coach Chal Fanning. "They've worked their way up from 60 pitches, 80 pitches and now 100 pitches. Drew threw hard and his pitches were breaking late. Garrett had another strong outing as both are contending for starting roles."
The Tigers return to practice Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field if weather permits.
