The Missouri men's basketball team split a pair of games last week against top-10 teams, and remained 22nd in the latest Associated Press Top-25 poll, released today.
The Tigers (16-6 overall, 5-3 in Big 12 Conference play), defeated then-#8 Virginia yesterday in Columbia (81-77) after suffering a 105-73 defeat at #2 Kansas last Monday.
Mizzou dropped out of the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' poll despite Sunday's win. That poll was tabluated prior to Sunday's game vs. Virginia.
Missouri, which has played three of its last four games vs. top-10 teams, next faces unranked Iowa State Wednesday night at the Hearnes Center. The game is sold out, but is being televised statewide on the Mizzou Sports Network.
