
Soyoye Drafted by Kansas Cagerz of USBL

Columbia, Mo. - Senior basketball player Tajudeen Soyoye was selected last night in the fourth round of the United States Basketball League by the Kansas Cagerz.
Soyoye, who averaged 7.8 points per game in his two-year Missouri career, was the 35th overall pick in the 10-team league.
Soyoye played in 64 games the past two seasons at MU, and is the only player to start every game under Quin Snyder. He averaged 6.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a senior, and 8.8 points and 6.3 rebounds as a junior.
A native of Lagos, Nigeria, Soyoye came to Columbia from Meridian (MS) Community College, where he was a first-team JUCO All-American in 1999.
