Seven Tigers place at CMSU Open

The University of Missouri wrestling team had seven wrestlers place at the Central Missouri State Open on Sunday in Warrensburg, Mo. The wrestlers were wrestling unattached at the open meet that featured a very strong field.
Freshman T.J. Hansen had the best finish among Tigers, taking third place in the 165-pound class. Sophomore Kenny Burleson took fourth place honors in the 157-pound class.
Freshman Austin DeVoe (125), senior David Neff (157) and sophomore Clint Freeman (174) each placed fifth in their respective weight classes. Also placing for Missouri was sophomore Justin Spates who took sixth in the 133-pound weight class and redshirt freshman Cody Greene who finished sixth at 149 pounds.
The Tigers host the 2nd Annual Missouri Open on Sunday Nov. 18 in the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. Following Thanksgiving break, the Tigers will host their first home dual on Dec. 7 against Indiana.
