Bushwood Downs Gypsies, 8-2

COLUMBIA, Mo. - A seven-run outburst in the first inning powered Bushwood Country Club to an 8-2 win over Gypsies in game two of the University of Missouri's Fall World Series at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field.
The series is now tied at one game each. Game three of the series will be Sunday at 2 p.m.
Jayce Tingler (Jr., Smithville, Mo.) got the first inning started with a walk. After he and Felipe Tetelboin (Van Nuys, Calif.) executed a hit-and-run play, Tingler scored on an error in right field. Lee Laskowski (So., Clayton, Mo.) doubled to center to score Tetelboin. Ryan Rallo (So., Chesterfield, Mo.) drove in Laskowski with a double of his own to make it 3-0. Brent Lacy (Fr., Ellisville, Mo.) made it 4-0 with a single to score Rallo. Kurt Propst (Sr., Jefferson City) singled before Tony Vitello (Sr., Florissant, Mo.) hit a three-run home run to left field to make it 7-0.
Tingler, who had two hits and two stolen bases, scored the other Bushwood run in the fourth inning when he stole home. Rallo also had two hits for Bushwood.
Gyspies scored one run in the eighth inning and another in the ninth. The run in the ninth came on a solo home run by Dan Bane (So,. Blue Springs, Mo.). Gypsies were led by Mick Weiss' three hits. Weiss is a senior from St. Peters, Mo.
Travis Wendte (Fr., Moore, Okla.) picked up the win for Bushwood. Wendte allowed only three hits in seven innings of shutout ball. Justin James (Fr., Yukon, Okla.) struck out eight batters in six innings of relief work for Gypsies.
