LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Keyon Dooling scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half as Missouri used a 3-point barrage to rally for an 84-78 win over Nebraska, the Tigers' seventh in a row.
After hitting just 2-of-10 from 3-point range in the first half, the Tigers (14-6 overall, 7-1 Big 12) went 9-for-19 from beyond the arch in the second half, scoring 60 points.
Kareem Rush led Missouri with 21 points, Brian Grawer scored 16 and Clarence Gilbert finished with 16 for the Tigers, who shot 53 percent in the second half.
Nebraska's Kimani Ffriend scored 20 points and Steffon Bradford had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Larry Florence scored 17 and Danny Walker had 10 points for the Cornhuskers (10-11, 3-5), who would have given Danny Nee the most wins for a Nebraska coach had they held on to the lead.
Nee is tied with former coach Joe Cipriano's Nebraska record of 253 wins.
Dooling hit a 3-pointer to cut the score 62-58 Nebraska with 6:59 remaining. A Rush layup 25 seconds later got it to 62-60 and was the final Missouri two-point basket of the game.
After a Ffriend free throw, another Dooling 3-pointer tied the game at 63 with 6:05 remaining.
Nebraska got a free throw from Florence, then Gilbert hit a 3 to give Missouri its first lead of the game at 66-64 with 5:40 left.
Ffriend tied the game on a dunk. But 3-pointers by Dooling and Grawer put Missouri up 72-66 with 2:02 remaining. Missouri then made 12-of-16 free throws in the final two minutes to hold off Nebraska.
Nebraska led by as many as 14 late in the first half and early in the second, but managed just two baskets in an eight minute stretch midway through the second half.
