Ralston Purina Title Sponsor for MU-SLU Game

Columbia, Mo. - Ralston Purina Company of St. Louis, Mo., has secured title sponsorship of Saturday's University of Missouri men's basketball game vs. Saint Louis University. The game, set for 1:00 p.m. at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, will be called the "Purina Dog Chow Mizzou-SLU Classic."
Fans will be treated to the high flying Purina ? Dog Chow ? Incredible Dog Team at halftime of the contest. The Team will perform a unique, high-energy routine. The show will include acrobatic, freestyle routines that prove that every dog has the ability to be incredible.
"Ralston Purina is proud to be the title sponsor of the Purina Dog Chow Mizzou-SLU Classic," said Ralston-Purina CEO W. Patrick McGinnis. "Regardless of the outcome, the true winners will be the fans behind both of these great teams. We look forward to an incredible matchup," he said.

Missouri, currently 4-1 on the season, will be looking to avenge a 75-72 loss last year against the Billikens (5-1), in what was the first meeting between the two schools since 1980.
Founded in 1894 and headquartered in St. Louis, Ralston Purina is the world's largest producer of dry dog and soft-moist cat foods, most of which are marketed under the Purina brand name.
