COLUMBIA, Miss. (AP) - Keyon Dooling matched his career high with 25 points and Missouri shot a season-best 64 percent, snapping a three-game losing streak with a 100-86 victory over Colorado Wednesday night.
Dooling was 7-for-8, hit all four 3-point attempts, and was 7-for-8 at the free-throw line to score 25 for the third time. Eleven of his points came in the final 10 minutes with Missouri (8-6, 1-1 Big 12) nursing small leads.
The Tigers pulled away by going 13-for-16 at the free-throw line in the final five minutes.
Jamahl Mosley had a season-best 22 points for Colorado (9-5, 0-2), which twice cut the gap to one point midway through the second half. Jaquay Wells added 18 points and seven assists but was only 6-for-21 for the Buffaloes, who are 1-4 on the road.
Missouri was 10-for-15 from 3-point range, its sixth time in double figures, en route to a season high for scoring. Clarence Gilbert hit his first five attempts and added 19 points.
The Tigers' previous best shooting overall was 52 percent against Illinois.
Colorado entered the game best in the Big 12 at defending the 3-pointer, holding opponents to 29 percent. Two games ago, the Tigers were 5-for-30 from long range in a loss to Winthrop.
Jeff Hafer (19 points) and Johnnie Parker (16) each had career-best days for scoring. Parker made 8-of-9 shots and Hafer hit 12-of-14 free throws and led Missouri with eight rebounds.
Missouri is 28-2 against Colorado in the Hearnes Center, with the only losses in 1973 and 1997.
Gilbert and Dooling were a combined 8-for-9 from 3-point range in the first half as Missouri took a 48-38 lead. The Tigers shot 64 percent overall to compensate for 10 inside baskets by Colorado, which shot 46.9 percent.
The Tigers hit their first five from 3-point range. Gilbert had four of them, including three in a stretch of 1:26.
