Missouri Tennis Falls To Kansas 7-2

The Missouri women's tennis team was defeated by arch rival Kansas, 7-2 yesterday, in Lawrence. It was the 19th consecutive series win for the 50th ranked Jayhawks who now lead overall, 22-2. The Tigers won just one singles match and one doubles match. Leading Mizzou was freshman Kristina Olshanskaya. She won her singles match and her doubles match with partner Joni Jordan. Olshanskaya improved her singles record to 4-7 in dual competition and her doubles record to 4-6, also in dual matches.

Missouri sits at a 3-8 overall record and a 1-5 conference record while KU is 8-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12.
