Southwestern Bell To Kick Off On-Line Balloting

DALLAS,TX - Think of it as "e-balloting." That's right, Big 12 fans now have the chance to cast their votes on-line for the Southwestern Bell Fans' Choice Big 12 Player of the Week Award that will include scholarship awards for schools and valuable prize opportunities for Big 12 fans.
Southwestern Bell will donate $500 to the general scholarship fund of the university represented by the Southwestern Bell Fans' Choice Player of the Week, which will be announced each Thursday. Fans may select the player by casting votes on the Internet (www.swbellfanschoice.com or www.big12sports.com). Each Internet vote automatically qualifies participants with the opportunity to win Big 12 merchandise and trips to the Southwestern Bell Cotton Bowl, Nokia Sugar Bowl and Sylvania Alamo Bowl.
In addition to the Fans' Choice Player of the Week, Southwestern Bell's Big 12 sponsorship also includes:
? Southwestern Bell Big 12 Football Player of the Week - Southwestern Bell will sponsor the Player of the Week program administered by the Conference throughout the football season. In conjunction with the Player of the Week award, Southwestern Bell also is title sponsor of the Southwestern Bell Big 12 Player of the Year and Southwestern Bell Coach of the Year awards. ? The Southwestern Bell Homecoming Giveaway - In association with Big 12 Corporate Partner Phillips 66, Southwestern Bell will provide fans the opportunity to win $100,000 in cash and thousands of other Big 12 prizes.
