Thole Earns Regional Honors

COLUMBIA, Mo{} The National Soccer Coaches Association of America have voted sophomore forward Nikki Thole to the All-Central Region Second Team. This is the first time Thole has been elected by the NSCAA to the All-Regional Team. Thole earns these honors after posting a record-breaking season. She broke the Tigers' all-time goals scored record with twenty. She also is the team leader and record holder for points in a season with 46. The only Tiger to ever score a hat trick, Thole repeated that feat four times this season, once in seven minutes. She also holds the individual record for points per game with seven. She also earned first team All-Big 12 Honors, as well as a spot on the conference all-tournament team.
