
Tigers Dominate Morgan State, 91-50

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -Josh Kroenke scored 18 points, including 5-of-7 shooting on 3-pointers, to lead Missouri past Morgan State 91-50 on Saturday.
Missouri (4-1) opened the game on a 13-0 run, hitting its first four 3-point attempts. The Tigers tied a school record for 3-pointers by making 15-of-31.
Kareem Rush added 14 points, and Tajudeen Soyoye had 13 for a Missouri attack that saw four players score in double figures. Keyon Dooling, Missouri's leading scorer with 13.4 points per game, was held below double digits for the second straight game with five points on 2-of-12 shooting.
Morgan State (0-3) scored its first points on a Michael Canady jumper with 16:40 left in the first half to make the score 13-2.
Missouri led by as many as 23 in the first half and went in at halftime 40-26.
Jimmy Fields led Morgan State with 17 points, and Canady added eight points and 10 rebounds.
The Tigers shot 48.4 percent from 3-point range, besting their previous season high of 41.4 percent against Western Carolina.
Saturday's game was the third in a five-game homestand for Missouri, which plays host to SMU on Dec. 1.
