
Men's Basketball Beats Princeton In Consolation Game

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Keyon Dooling scored 25 points, including the game-winning free throws with 57 seconds left, and Missouri beat Princeton 51-48 in the consolation game of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Classic on Saturday night.
Princeton's Chris Young, who led the Tigers with 18 points, had a chance to tie the game, but his 3-point shot hit the back of the rim as time expired.
Dooling, who was 8-for-15 from the field - including 5-of-6 from 3-point range - scored 18 of Missouri's first 29 points as the Tigers took a 29-25 lead.
Missouri, which lost to Wisconsin in Friday's opening round at the Carrier Dome, shot 29 percent from the field.
Young scored Princeton's first 10 points of the second half as the Tigers used an 8-0 run to take a 40-39 lead.
Kareem Rush, who had 10 rebounds, scored five straight points for Missouri as the Tigers came back to take a 46-43 lead.
Eugene Baah had 10 points and five assists for Princeton, which was just 8-of-26 from 3-point range. Princeton lost to No. 17 Syracuse on Friday.
The win was the first as a head coach for former Duke assistant Quin Snyder.
