MU-Nebraska Reserved Seating Tickets Sold Out

August 19, 1999

Columbia, Mo. - Reserved-seating tickets for the Sept. 25th Missouri-Nebraska football game have sold out, as announced today by the University of Missouri Athletic Department. A small amount of seats are being held for remaining season ticket purchasers.

Those people who previously placed orders for reserved tickets for the game, and who have been told that their order can not be fulfilled, have two options. At the purchasers' request, Missouri will provide general admission tickets plus a refund of the difference in price between reserved and general admission seating. The second option is a full refund.

Priority will be given to Tiger Scholarship Fund donors and Missouri season ticket holders. Remaining general admission tickets will go on sale Tues., Sept. 7th at 8:00 a.m.

"We hope the situation has not caused confusion among our customers," said Mario Moccia, associate athletic director for external operations. "It's a simple case where for this game, the amount of orders exceeded our supply. We're excited that for the first time in a long time, we have a game where all of the advance sales have been bought up. I think it shows how much excitement there is revolving around the Tigers."
