
@MUWomensGolf Launches Spring Campaign Friday at Florida State Match-Up

The 54-hole tournament runs Friday and Saturday in Tallahassee

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Women's Golf begins its spring campaign at the Florida State Match-Up in Tallahassee, Fla., on Friday. Mizzou will pair up with Coastal Carolina and play 36 holes Friday before a final 18-hole round on Saturday.
The match-up, hosted by Florida State University, will be played at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course. Round one begins tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start. The course is a par 72 with a yardage of 6,212.
The Tigers are one of 12 programs competing in the Florida State Match-Up alongside Coastal Carolina, Columbia, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Princeton, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Virginia.
Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer brings junior Emma Allen (Southampton, England), sophomore Jessica Yuen (Bolingbrook, Ill.), senior Clara Young (North Berwick, Scotland), sophomore Cherise Otter (Bloomington, Ind.), and junior Cayce Hendrickson (Benton, Ky.) to Tallahassee for Mizzou's first tournament of the spring campaign.
During the 2017 fall campaign, the Tigers claimed a top 10 spot in four of five tournaments including a first place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational in October. It marked their fourth consecutive Johnie Imes title. Allen had a stellar fall season with two second-place finishes while matching the 18-hole program record with a 65 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. Yuen also matched the 18-hole program record on the opening day of the fall season at the Jim West Challenge and placed in the top 10 four times in the five events she participated in. She claimed a pair of top-three finishes in the process.
