Rain, Field Conditions Force No. 22 @MizzouBaseball to Cancel Midweek at WIU

Mizzou will be back in action this weekend in a top-25 SEC showdown at Auburn
MACOMB, Ill. – Mizzou Baseball and Western Illinois cancelled its Wednesday game in the middle of the second inning due to poor weather and unplayable field conditions. Mizzou head coach Steve Bieser and WIU coach Ryan Brownlee agreed to cancel the game after trying to fix the conditions at home plate between the top and bottom of the second inning. Both agreed the conditions were unplayable.
