SEC Announces @MizzouWBB Conference Schedule

Tigers to host five conference opponents that made the 2017 NCAA Tournament at Mizzou Arena
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference released Mizzou Women's Basketball's 2017-18 league schedule Tuesday, and head coach Robin Pingeton's squad will welcome five SEC teams that made it to the 2017 NCAA Tournament to Mizzou Arena.
Mizzou will face a trio of conference foes twice during the upcoming campaign, including border rival Arkansas, Vanderbilt and 2017 national champion South Carolina. The Tigers will also take on LSU, 2017 national runner up Mississippi State, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee at home. Pingeton and company are 28-4 at Mizzou Arena over the past two seasons after going 15-1 at home last year.
Mizzou's conference road schedule includes matchups at Alabama, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, Auburn and Texas A&M. The Tigers went a combined 9-2 against those opponents during the 2016-17 season.
The regular season concludes with the 2018 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be held for the sixth time at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. The tournament will include all 14 teams and begins on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, March 4.
In addition to its challenging league schedule, Mizzou's previously announced nonconference slate features three tournaments, a pair of home games vs. Kansas State and Illinois and potential matchups with Iowa, California, Indiana and Xavier.
