COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 15 Missouri concludes the regular season on Friday, March 10 when the team hosts No. 12 Kentucky at 7 p.m. CT at the Hearnes Center on Senior Night. The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network +. Following the meet, Mizzou will honor the senior class for their contributions to the Tiger program.

- Mizzou broke the program vault record against Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri with a team total of 49.425, besting the old high of 49.375 set in 2004
- The Tigers opened the 2017 season with a score of 196.225 and wins over then-No. 24 Illinois (194.200) and Ball State (193.625) on Jan. 6. Missouri's score stands as the highest opening-meet score in Tiger history, besting the old high of 195.350 set in 2016 and 2004
- Mizzou's 2017 slate was ranked the fourth-toughest in the country entering the season, behind only SEC foes Georgia, Auburn and Alabama
- Head Coach Shannon Welker enters his fourth season at the helm of the Tiger program. In his first three years in Columbia, Welker has Mizzou back in the national spotlight. In 2016, the Tigers posted their highest NCAA Regional finish (third) since 2010 and finished the season ranked 19th nationally, ahead of Southeastern Conference foes Arkansas and Kentucky. Additionally, Missouri recorded three scores of at least 196.625 or higher during the year in 2016, only the second time Mizzou accomplished that in the 37 year history of the program.
LAST TIME OUT
- Missouri erupted for a 197.200-195.350 win over No. 18 Auburn on March 18
- The score was the third-highest in program history and only the fifth time the team ever reached the 197 mark
- The win also marked the first time Mizzou defeated Auburn since Feb. 1, 2002 at the Cat Classic, ending an 11-match winning streak for Auburn
- Mizzou also tied its beam record with a 49.325
- The Tigers also went 49.375 on floor and 49.350 on bars to record scores of at least 49.325 on three events for only the second time in school history, joining the 2004 team which went 49.550 on floor, 49.400 on bars and 49.375 on vault at the Texas Women's Invite on March 12
- Sophomore Britney Ward claimed her team-leading ninth and 10th event titles of the year as she won beam (9.95) and tied for the vault crown
- Freshman Aspen Tucker took home the all-around win (career-high 39.450) and tied Ward for the vault title
- Also winners were junior Kennedi Harris on floor (career-high 9.950) and sophomore Madeleine Huber on bars (career-high-tying 9.925)
MISSOURI RANKED 15TH NATIONALLY
- Missouri is ranked 15th in this week's RoadToNational's national rankings, released on Monday, with an regional qualifying score (RQS) of 196.325
- The Tigers have stayed in the top 15 in all eight in-season rankings, as they checked in at sixth (Jan. 9), eighth (Jan. 16), 11th (Jan. 23 and Jan. 30), 13th (Feb. 6 and Feb. 20) and 15th (Feb. 13, Feb. 27 and March 6)
- Mizzou entered the season at No. 19 in the preseason rankings
- In addition to its total team ranking, Missouri is tied for ninth nationally on vault and ranks 18th on bars, beam and floor
TIGERS IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
- Three different Tigers find themselves ranked in the top 25 individually
- Sophomore Britney Ward is ranked on two events, as she is tied for seventh nationally on vault (9.915 RQS) and tied for eighth on beam (9.910)
- Junior Kennedi Harris is tied for 14th on floor (9.910)
- Additionally, freshman Aspen Tucker is tied for 24th on vault (9.865)
- The top eight gymnasts nationally earn NACGC/W Regular Season All-America first team honors, while the ninth-16th ranked gymnasts claim second team accolades
- Ward claimed NACGC/W Regular Season All-America second team honors on beam as a freshman in 2016
TUCKER NAMED SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
- Freshman Aspen Tucker was named the SEC Freshman of the Week, the league announced on March 7
- The honor was the first first for a Tiger since Morgan Porter claimed the award on March 8, 2016
- Against Auburn on March 3, Tucker earned her third all-around win of the season with a career-best 39.450, a total that ties for the third-highest freshman all-around total in school history
- She also tied for first on vault with a 9.900 to claim the first individual event win of her young career. Additionally, she tallied a career-best 9.900 on floor and tied her personal-high with a 9.850 on bars against the visiting Tigers.
- She currently ranks tied for 24th nationally on vault with a regional qualifying score (RQS) of 9.865 and is just outside the top 25 in the all-around as she clocks in at 28th with an RQS of 39.180.
MIZZOU NOTCHES THIRD-HIGHEST SCORE IN PROGRAM HISTORY
- The Tigers scored a season-best 197.200 in its win over Auburn on March to record the third-highest score in program history.

TIGERS TIE SCHOOL BEAM MARK
- The Tigers scored a 49.325 on beam against Auburn on March 3 to tie the program record on the event
- The 49.325 was notched three other times in school history: against Illinois on Feb. 11, 2005, at the Mizzou Invitational on March 6, 2004 and against Oklahoma on Feb. 29, 2004
- Before the 49.325, Mizzou's season-high on the apparatus was 49.175, recorded at Florida on Feb. 24 and in the season opener on Jan. 6 against Illinois and Ball State
MISSOURI GOES 49.325 ON THREE EVENTS FOR ONLY THE SECOND TIME
- Missouri did something against Auburn it had only done one other time in its history: score at least 49.325 points on three events in a single meet
- The Tigers went 49.375 on floor, 49.350 on bars and 49.325 on beam on March 3
- The only other time the program reached those scores was on March 12, 2004, when the team scored 49.550 on floor, 49.400 on bars and 49.375 on vault at the Texas Women's Invite
WARD CONTINUES TO SHINE
- Sophomore Britney Ward continues her strong season as Mizzou's most consistent Tiger
- She leads the Tigers with 10 event wins on the year, with five apiece on vault and beam
- Ward owns 11 of Missouri's 26 9.9 scores so far this season
- Eleven of her 25 routines on the year have earned at least a 9.9, while 19 have gone 9.8 or better
- She also ranks tied for seventh nationally on vault with an RQS of 9.915 and tied for eighth nationally on beam with an RQS of 9.910
TIGERS VAULTING UP A STORM
- The Tigers rank tied for ninth nationally on vault with an RQS of 49.205 and own an average score of 49.153
- So far this year, Missouri has scored at least a 49.050 in nine of 10 meets, including the last nine in a row
- Mizzou started the trend with a 49.225 at Arkansas on Jan. 13, set a program-record 49.425 in the State of Missouri
- Sophomore Britney Ward leads the Tigers and is tied for seventh nationally with an RQS of 9.915
- Ward has four scores of 9.925 or better so far this season, as she went 9.950 against Alabama and posted 9.925s
- at Arkansas and LSU and against George Washington, Iowa State and Lindenwood
MISSOURI GOES 49.175 ON ALL EVENTS FOR SECOND-TIME EVER
- The Tigers earned scores of 49.225 on vault and 49.175 on bars, beam and floor at Florida on Feb. 24 for their season-best total of 196.750
- The meet marked only the second time in program history Mizzou scored at least a 49.175 on every event, joining the 2004 Cat Classic on Feb. 6, 2004 when the Tigers earned event scores of 49.300 on vault, 49.250 on bars, 49.225 on beam and 49.575 on floor
- Additionally, the meet at Florida also marked the first time the Tigers notched at least a 49 on all four events since April 10, 2010 at the NCAA Columbia Regional
HARRIS STEADY AS THEY COME
- Junior Kennedi Harris has been solid as a rock so far in 2017
- In the vault and floor lineups every meet this season, 18 of her 20 routines have gone for at least a 9.8
- Additionally, Harris is second on the team with eight scores of 9.9 or higher, with seven such scores on floor and one on vault
- She has earned a 9.9 or better on floor in seven of the last eight meets, with a career-high 9.950 against Auburn, 9.925s at Florida and the State of Missouri Meet and 9.9s against Alabama, Georgia, LSU and at the Mardi Gras Invitational
- The junior is tied for 14th nationally on floor with an RQS of 9.910
