18 Seniors will play their last game on Faurot Field this Saturday as Mizzou looks to notch their fifth win of the season against Tennessee
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Football looks to keep it rollin' as the team prepares to host Tennessee in the final home game of the 2017 season Saturday night on Faurot Field. The Tigers will honor the 18 seniors on the roster before the game as a part of senior night at Memorial Stadium, but any emotions that may be brewing are being pushed aside by players and coaches as Mizzou continues to focus on staying 1-0 every week.
"It's kind of surreal," senior S Anthony Sherrils said. "This is going to be my last game in The Zou. The emotion has not hit yet, but we'll see when the time comes around. But, this doesn't change my preparation. I'm going to prepare the same every week. If it's senior night, graduation or any other night I'm going to prepare the same way, just because, we're in the SEC, you have to prepare every week, every game."
Thank you, #Mizzou seniors. ??

Senior WR J'Mon Moore reflected that sentiment as he reflected on what running onto Faurot for the last time would mean to him.
"I'm just going to walk into it like any other game. This is my last game here at The Zou, and I want to win. I want to compete and do what I have to do for us to go out with a win. I'm going to miss playing in there, but I'm going to approach it just like a normal game and compete, go as hard as I can to make sure that we finish plus one at the end of the fourth quarter."
The Tigers have made a habit of sending the seniors off on a winning note at home, taking home victories in 10 of the last 12 senior night games, including an emotional 28-24 victory over Arkansas last season. Junior OL Paul Adams is well aware of that trend, and emphasized how important it is to the non-seniors to send the seniors out with a win.
"It's absolutely huge," Adams said. "We obviously did it last year against Arkansas, but senior night is all about them, this win is for them, this season is for them, these next three games that we have, it's all for them. So, sending them off with a win at home is just absolutely huge."
