Mizzou will host Illinois at 4 p.m. CT following the conclusion of the Mizzou Football game
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling has set a time for its season-opening dual on Nov. 4, as the Tigers will host Illinois at 4 p.m. CT. The dual is currently slated to take place inside the Mizzou Softball Stadium, weather permitting. If weather were to become an issue, the dual would be moved inside to the Hearnes Center.
The dual would be the first non-softball sporting event to occur in the stadium, which opened its doors in March 2017. Mizzou and Illinois last met in the NWCA National Duals on Feb. 21, 2015, where Mizzou beat Illinois, 34-3, en route to a National Duals title.
Fans who wish to attend the dual will be able to park in the lots closest to the softball stadium (lots K, O, M & N) at 3:30 p.m. after the conclusion of the Mizzou Football game against Florida on the same date.
Season and single-dual tickets continue to be available, through MUTigers.com/wrtix or by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS. Due to space and high demand, general admission seating will be given to the first 2,000 fans that purchase a ticket. Anyone who purchases a ticket after this limit is reached would be given a "standing room only" ticket. If the dual were to be moved to the Hearnes Center, all tickets would be then categorized as general admission. Fans who purchase the season ticket package will be given access to the "TigerStyle Lounge", which will include on-the-field mat-side access to the dual. Before and during the dual, fans will be able to convene in the TigerStyle Lounge where food and drink choices (including alcohol) will be available for purchase.
