Mizzou and Kansas State hosting annual tournament in Tucson
TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 22 Mizzou Women's Golf will host the MountainView Collegiate Invitational at the MountainView Golf Club on Friday and Saturday. The tournament hosted by Mizzou and Kansas State will include Colorado State, Georgia, Iowa State, Kennesaw State, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, New Mexico State, Ohio State, Purdue, San Jose State, Texas State, Texas-San Antonio and Wyoming.
The Tigers return to action for the third tournament of the spring slate and first in a month. Mizzou finished third out of 18 teams at the UCF Challenge from Feb. 7-9 and placed seventh at the Seminole Match Up from Feb. 12-14.
Mizzou's lineup will include all eight players on the roster with three competing individually. Redshirt senior Michelle Butler (Dunedin, Fla.) finished second individually at the UCF Challenge while freshman Emma Allen (Southampton, England) tied for 13th and sophomore Clara Young (North Berwick, Scotland) tied for 15th at the Seminole Match Up.
The teams will play the first two rounds on Friday and will conclude the tournament with the final round on Saturday. Friday's shotgun start is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT.
