
@MizzouWrestling Practicing Outdoors to Open Official Season on Saturday

#TigerStyle will practice at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10 on the West Lawn outside the Hearnes Center
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling is opening the official season in style with an outdoor practice on Saturday, Oct. 10. The session begins at 2:30 p.m. CT and will take place on the West Lawn of the Hearnes Center along Mick Deaver Memorial Dr. Mizzou fans are encouraged to come watch and get a first glimpse at this year's nationally-ranked wrestling team.
#TigerStyle returns three All-Americans and several other key members from the 2014-15 squad that boasted a 24-0 record, secured an NWCA National Duals Finals title and clinched a fourth-place team finish at the NCAA Championships. Mizzou also welcomes 19 freshmen and four transfers, including former ACC Champion, redshirt senior Blaise Butler.
The Homecoming practice offers the lone opportunity to see the team in action before the Tigers' host the annual Black & Gold Match on Nov. 5. Mizzou opens the 2015-16 season Nov. 20 at SIUE and launches its home schedule Dec. 12 against defending national champion Ohio State.
