QUOTABLES
Mizzou Head Coach Marc Burns
On the women's race…
"We are thrilled with the races of our top-three women today. It is really something special when you put three freshman in the top-30 at the regional meet. We did not hit our team goal, but we were close and we believe in this team. This will be a strong motivator for us moving forward and the first step is having a strong indoor and outdoor track season. We will be back next fall ready to make a big step forward.
On the men's race…
"Kieran had a great day today finishing 19th. He put himself in position early and battled the whole way. Overall, we are pretty disappointed in the team finish as we felt we had a top-10 team in the region. We came up a little short today, but we are proud of our guys and how they battled all year. They have put in place a great foundation for future success."
