"We are very excited to reward Ashley from her outstanding work with External Engagement, the Tiger Scholarship Fund and Mizzou Athletics," Deputy Athletic Director Doug Gillin said. "She has incredible Mizzou ties, beginning with being a four-year letter winner with Mizzou softball from 2002-05. Ashley's previous work with Mizzou Alumni Association has transitioned extremely well, as she continues to take care of all of our constituents. Everyone inside Mizzou Athletics is excited for the future, and we're very happy to have Ashley be a part of that."
Moore has an extensive Mizzou background, as she is a former four-year letter winner with Mizzou softball and served as the team captain her senior season. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Missouri in 2006, and also accomplished her Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in 2011.
Prior to working in Mizzou Athletics, Moore spent five years with Mizzou Alumni Association.
"I'm very excited for the tremendous opportunity to continue to work in the University of Missouri Athletic Department," Moore said. "Being a former student-athlete and a life-long Mizzou fan, I'm honored that I get to come to work at this place every day. I'm so thankful to Director of Athletics Mike Alden and Deputy Athletic Director Doug Gillin for this amazing opportunity."
Moore is originally from Monroe City, Mo. and now resides in Columbia, Mo. with her husband Ty, and two sons, Gibson and Dean.
