Day one of the 2010 Johnie Imes Invitational is in the books as great weather greeted the players at The Club at Old Hawthorne. Oklahoma State leads after two rounds of play with a 36-hole total of 579.
Mizzou opened its home event with rounds of 315 and 314 on Monday and stands in 14th place with a 628 total.
Leading the Tigers was senior Nicola Race, who stands in a tie for 38th place with a 153 total after two rounds.
Junior Kelly Osborne is in 54th place with a 36-hole score of 156 followed by freshman Taylor Gohn, who is tied for 70th spot at 161. Fellow freshman Ariana Savich is tied for 74th place with a 162 score, while junior Marissa Cook is in a tie for 78th with a two-round score of 164.
Four other Tigers are competing as individuals in the tournament. Leading those four is freshman Kate Gallagher, who is tied for 65th with a 36-hole total of 159. Sophomore Ahnna Kim is tied for 74th place with a 162 score, while senior Lindsay Burry is in a tie for 82nd at 177 and senior Kelsey Meyer is 84th with a 177 score.
The individual leader is Kelly Shon of Princeton with a 140, followed by Courtney McKim of Oklahoma State and Jessica Wallace of Colorado at 141.
The final round will be played on Tuesday, starting at 8 a.m. at The Club at Old Hawthorne. Spectators are welcome to attend. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
