The University of Missouri men's and women's cross country teams will head to Chicago this weekend for Saturday's Sean Harl Lakefront Invitational. The Tigers are looking to add to the success they have had this season. Last week, the Mizzou women won at the Brother Doyle Meet of Champions and freshman Amanda Bales was named Big 12 runner of the Week. The Mizzou men finished 7th with freshman Tim Ross finishing in an impressive 18 place.
The last time the Tigers came to this meet, in 2000, both the men and women took home team titles. FinishLynx currently ranks the Tiger women at number 20 nationally. This is the highest the Tiger women have been ranked since the 2000 NCAA Championships.
