Drake Houdashelt tallied a thrilling 3-1 sudden-victory decision over No. 3 David Habat of Edinboro, March 21, 2015, at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, to become the fifth individual and sixth overall national champion in Missouri wrestling history. The O’Fallon, Missouri native outscored his five opponents, 30-3, at the 2015 NCAA Wrestling Championships. Two of his wins were major decision shutouts. He left Mizzou as a four-time conference champion (2012 Big 12, 2013-2014-2015 Mid-American Conference), making him the first individual in Mizzou wrestling history to accomplish that feat. He had a career record of 134-23 (3rd most victories), including a 57-9 record in conference duals. His 39 career major decisions are the most in Tiger Style history.
