The Malta Bend, Missouri native scored 1,338 points in his career which stood as the MU record until broken by John Brown in 1973. He collected 725 career rebounds with a solid 9.8 rebounds-per-game average. Henke led Mizzou in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage in both 1960 and ’61. Voted team co-captain during his senior season, he was selected in the 4th round of the 1961 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. He was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.
