Cross Country- Kicked the season off as the 11th runner for the Tigers at the Iowa State Invitational, completing the 8k course in 26:16...Was the first finisher for the black and gold, 10th overall, in the Blue Race at the Greater Louisville Classic with a PR performance of 25:11.78
Indoor Track- Was 3rd in the 3k at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, finishing in 8:30.17...Went on to compete at the SEC Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, AR, running PR's in both the 3k (8:19.21) and 5k (14:53.49)
Outdoor Track- Eric's lone meet of the outdoor season was the Missouri Relays, where he finished 8th in the 1500m with a final time of 3:58.59

Indoor Track- Primarily ran the mile and 3000m during the season...Clocked a season-best mile time of 4:16.47 at the Iowa State Classic...His season-best in the 3000m came at the Bill Bergan Invitational where he was paced at 8:27.71

HIGH SCHOOL
Ran for R.S. McLaughlin CVI under coach Rob Grepe...Also competed for the Toronto Olympic Club...Qualified for the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships, where he was the only North American to make the 1500m finals and placed 11th overall in 3:53.87...Earned All-American honors at the 2009 National Scholastic Indoor Championships, placing 5th in the mile (4:16.12)...Placed 2nd the following year at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in the mile (4:13.50)...Had the fastest 1500m time of any youth (under 18) in North America for 2010...Ran an 8:25.78 3000m to break the Hungerford-Kinsmen Invitational record in 2010, previously held by two-time NCAA Champion Matthew Hughes

Parents are Kevin and Barbara, brother Marcus...Born June 23, 1992 in Oshawa, Canada...Father Kevin ran at Villanova under coach Jumbo Elliot and placed 7th at the 1978 World Cross Country Championships in Glasgow, Scotland...Brother Marcus ran at Wake Forest and qualified for both the Junior Cross Country and Track World Championships...Was on the Gold Honor Roll his senior year in high school...Was the R.S. McLaughlin Athlete of the Year his junior and senior year...Was an alpine skier and hockey player before becoming a runner...Is studying Finance
