Cross Country: Placed 95th overall in the NCAA Championships, shaving 30 seconds off his 10k PR in clocking a 30:52.3 time in cold, windy conditions ... earned an individual spot into the NCAA Championships after earning All-Region honors in placing 17th, and running the 10k in 31:34.8, at the Midwest Regional to lead the Tigers to a fifth-place team finish ... led the team at the Big 12 Championships with a 16th-place overall showing, running 24:55.7 ... clocked new 8k PR with a 24:14.0 run in leading the team at the Pre-National Invitational (35th) ... led squad at the Roy Griak Invitational, placing 20th overall. Outdoor: Regional qualifier at 5000 meters for the first time, placing 15th ... qualified for regionals with a 14:09.41 run at the distance, shaving 14 seconds off previous best at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif. ... earned All-Big 12 honors at 10,000 meters for the second-straight year with a seventh-place showing (31:15.81) ... ran a personal best 8:25.07 at 3000 meters en route to victory at the Jefferson Cup dual at Virginia. 2007:
Cross Country: Was the second Tiger finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional, finishing 44th overall ... was the Tigers second or third finisher in every race this season, aside from the Missouri Cross Country Challenge ... finished 47th overall at the Roy Griak and was the second Tiger finisher in the race ... finished sixth overall at Bradley with a time of 24:56 ... placed 36th at Big 12's with a time of 25:58.09 as he was the second Tiger to cross the finish line. Outdoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors with a seventh-place finish at the Big 12 Championships in the 10,000m run with a personal best time of 31:00.74 ... Set a personal record in the 1500m clocking in at 3:49.38 ...ran as a member of the 4 x 1600m relay team that earned runner up honors at the Drake Relays ... clocked PR of 3:49.38 at 1500 meters at the Arkanas Invite. Indoor: Clocked in at 8:15.88 in the 3000m at the Iowa State Classic, a new personal best, taking over six seconds off previous year's best ... took fourth at the Big 12-Mountain West Challenge in the 3000m coming in at 8:21.20.
2006:
Cross Country: Started the season by winning the Missouri Cross Country Challenge and finished by earning All Region honors with a 20th place showing at the NCAA Midwest Regionals in Falcon Heights, Minn. (31:24.99, 10K) ... was Mizzou's first, second or third place finisher in all five men's races ... finished 24th at the Big 12 Championships ... earned a personal-best 8K time of 24:30.9 at the Pre-NCAA Invitational Meet Oct. 14, finishing 57th of 246 runners. Outdoor: Nearly grabbed All-Big 12 honors his freshman year with a ninth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships at 5000 meters ... nearly broke into Mizzou's all-time top five with season best 5k clocking of 14:23.95 at the Stanford Invite ... was part of fifth-place 4x1600 relay team at Drake Relays ... earned USATF Junior All- America honors, placing third at the Junior National Championships at 5000 meters. Indoor: Ran at 3000 meters almost exclusively ... placed second in the event at the MU-KU-KSU Triangular ... 26th at the Big 12 Indoor.
2005:
Cross Country: Had a standout year in his freshman season, coming thru with big performances as the team's second scorer at both the Big 12 Championships and NCAA Regional ... placed 37th overall at the Big 12 Championships, clocking 25:17 ... was 33rd overall at the NCAA Regionals, timing 32:12 ... had season-best 8k time at the Notre Dame Invite with 25:12 mark ... was fifth overall at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge.
High School:
Runner-up at the Missouri Class 4 State Cross Country meet ... on the track, was a state champion in the 3,200-meter run ... competing in the two-mile run, he earned his first of seven all-state titles, three in the two-mile run, two in the mile and two in the 4x800-meter relay ... a 2005 graduate of Marquette High School, Jeffries and the Mustang track team finished third at the state championships in 2004 ... named the St. Louis Post Dispatch Runner of the Year in 2004 ... named to the St. Louis Post Dispatch All-Metro cross country first team and All-Metro track first team ... coached by Mike Ebert (cross country) and Tony Edwards (track) ... academically, was a member of the National Honor Society and received scholar athlete recognition as well as Winner's Circle and Student of the Day while maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average all four years of high school.
