2008:
Cross Country: Ran in four races for the Tigers ... was team's fourth scorer at the Big 12 Championships (37th overall) ... was team's sixth in the regional (79th) ... was second team scorer at the Pre-National Invitational and third finisher at the Griak Invitational (74th). Outdoor: Regional qualifier at 5000 meters, running a career-best 14:09.58 at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., to qualify ... placed 12th at first regional ... took 10th at the distance at the Big 12 Championships. Indoor: Placed 17th and 28th, respectively, at the Big 12 Indoor meet at 5000 and 3000 meters ... winner of the Sykes-Sabbock Challenge Cup 3000-meter run, seizing a Tiger team-victory at the 11-team event, with a season's best 8:19.01 clocking.
2007:
Cross Country: Finished 13th at the NCAA Midwest Regional, earning him an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships, his time of 30:24 was a personal best in the 10K... at the national championships, placed in the top half of the field with a 125th standing (31:21.2) ... finished three spots shy of All-Big 12 honors at the Big 12 Championships as he finished the race in 25:17.89, placing him 18th overall ... earned the individual title at the Bradley Classic running a personal best 24:35 in the 8K ... was the Tigers first finisher at the Roy Griak Invitational finishing 28th overall ... finished second at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge behind teammate Billy Bell. Outdoor: Placed fifth at the Big 12 Championships at 5000 meters to earn first indivdual All-Big 12 honor ... ran a career-best 14:32.44 at 5000 meters at the Stanford Invitational ... was member of runner-up 4x1600-meter relay squad at Drake Relays. Indoor: Broke his personal record in the 3000m with an 8:13.04 at the Iowa State Classic ... also ran as a member of the distance medley relay team that took earned fifth place, earning All-Big 12 honors, at the Big 12 Championships ... placed 16th at the conference meet at 3000 meters, improving from a 37th-place finsh the previous year.
2006:
Cross Country: Finished second for the Tigers and 16th overall at the NCAA Midwest Regionals, earning his first career All-Midwest Region honor ... Finished third among Mizzou runners behind Ross and Jeffries at the Big 12 Championships, and 25th overall (25:29.70, 8K) ... Had a great first collegiate race at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing the 8K course in 25:56.45, good enough for third place among Mizzou runners, and 63rd overall ... Finished the Pre-NCAA meet third among Tiger runners, finishing in 98th place with a season-best time of 24:50.7 (8K).
2005:
Cross Country: Redshirt season.
High School:
A two-time two mile all-state champion in back-to-back years (2003-04) ... finished second at the 2004 Class 3 State Cross Country Meet ... named to the All-State team three times in the mile (2003-04) and three times for his cross country performances on the course (2002-04) ... received All-America honors as a junior alongside his teammates with a sixth place finish in the 4x800-meter relay ... holds the current 4x800-meter relay state record for his teams' championship finish at the 2004 Missouri State High School Activities Association competition Guided by Ladue cross country head coach Jan Lousseart and track coach Pat Sullivan ... claimed cross country first team all-metro honors in 2003 and 2004 ... the Rams' track team won the state championship in 2003, finishing second in 2004 ... Hedgecock was a vital component of his teams' 2004 cross country fourth place state finish ... named a Bright Flight Scholar Athlete.
