2007 SEASON
Has come on strong late in the year to play significant minutes at CB, making 2 starts in the last half of the season, including at Colorado and vs. Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game ... Is listed as the starter on one side for the Cotton Bowl ... Made a career-high seven tackles (six solo) against Nebraska ... Then had five stops against Oklahoma ... Recorded three tackles against the high-scoring Texas Tech offense ... Matched his career high with seven stops against Iowa state ... Followed a pair of tackles against Colorado with a six-stop performance against Texas A&M ... Made four tackles at Kansas State, then five against Kansas and four at the Big 12 Championship against Oklahoma ... Added his first career interception against Kansas, returning it 49 yards, setting up a Tiger TD.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Was a big-play performer at Diablo Valley College, where he was named a Second-Team JUCO All-American by J.C. Gridwire after he intercepted eight passes in 2005 (he also had two more TDs called back due to defensive penalties) ... Also returned one interception for a TD and recovered two fumbles ... Ranked as the No. 89 overall junior college prospect at any position, according to Rivals, and as the No. 12 defensive back by the same outlet ...
