2011 SEASON

Valuable and versatile lineman who helps give defensive line outstanding depth ... After seeing action in 11 games at tackle a year ago, is ready to contribute even more, and he begins fall camp listed fourth on the depth at the nosetackle spot ... Is scheduled to earn his undergraduate degree this December.

2010 SEASON

Earned his first letter for the Tigers, playing in 11 games and registering eight tackles ... Recorded two tackles, including a sack, in the win over McNeese State ... Added a stop against Oklahoma and made two tackles vs. Nebraska ... Had one tackle for loss against NU ... Continued to earn more playing time later in the season, making a tackle and forcing a fumble against Texas Tech ... Added two stops in the win over Iowa State.

2009 SEASON

Was shifted over to the defensive side of the ball for the season ... Saw action in four games on the year, and began helping the team later in the season as part of some special teams units.

2008 SEASON

Continued his contributions to the offensive scout team, mostly at the guard position ... Won the team's offensive Back-Up Player of the Week award for his efforts during game preparation leading up to the Oklahoma State game.

2007 SEASON

Joined the program in the fall as a walk-on and contributed in countless ways as part of the offensive scout team.

Was a three-sport athlete at St. Joseph's Central High School, lettering in football, track and field and wrestling ... Was a First-Team all-state selection as a senior defensive tackle, and also won team MVP honors ... Named the St. Joseph News-Press Defensive Player of the Year, and was an All-Suburban 6 selection on both the defensive and offensive line ... Named Suburban 6 Defensive Player of the Year, as well ... Was a two-year team captain ... Also won First-Team All-Suburban 6 honors as a junior on both the offensive and defensive lines ...
