
@MizzouSoftball Set For Eight Nationally Televised Games in 2018

Tigers’ first appearance scheduled for March 17 against Mississippi State
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball will be featured in eight nationally televised games in its 2018 campaign, announced Tuesday by the Southeastern Conference. The ESPN family of networks will air over 650 NCAA Division I softball games during the upcoming season.
The Tigers will be showcased in half of their SEC series' this year, beginning with consecutive days at home against Mississippi State. Both Saturday (March 17) and Sunday's (March 18) contests versus the Bulldogs will air live on SEC Network.
Later on in its conference schedule, Mizzou will showcase its talented roster with road matchups at Georgia (April 7) and South Carolina (April 20). The games will broadcast live on ESPNU and SEC Network, respectively. The second game (April 21) of the Tigers' series against the Gamecocks will also be featured on SEC Network.
In their regular season finale, the Tigers welcome 2017 Women's College World Series runner-up Florida to Mizzou Softball Stadium for a three-game series (May 4-6). All three games in Columbia, Mo., will air live on SEC Network.
The Tigers and Gators' matchup will serve as a warm-up for SEC Softball fans, as Mizzou Softball Stadium will host this year's SEC Softball Tournament (May 9-12). 11 games will occur over four days with the ESPN family of networks broadcasting each contest.
