Departments across campus have teamed up to bring more than 2,000 youth to Saturday’s game vs. USC
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Departments across the University of Missouri Campus have teamed with Mizzou Athletics to bring more than 2,000 underserved youth from the St. Louis, Mo., area to Saturday's Mizzou Football game vs. South Carolina for the 'Mizzou Youth Experience.' The program aims to give children an inside look at the college experience and all of the benefits of pursuing a college degree.
Tickets to Saturday's game vs. South Carolina are just the beginning for the more than 2,000 children who will be in attendance. The group will receive a campus tour led by the Mizzou Ambassador program. A program of Mizzou Athletics speakers will follow with talks from Howard Richards, Brian Brown and Mizzou Wrestling Coach Brian Smith. The group will then move to Memorial Stadium for Mizzou's game vs. South Carolina.
Fans can support these young future Tigers by purchasing tickets for this program for only $20 apiece that will be donated to area youth organizations throughout the entire 2017 season.
Ticket donations are a great way to not only help fill Memorial Stadium, but also to show support to deserving people. In addition, the donations will earn participants Tiger Scholarship Fund priority points, and could be tax deductible (consult your tax attorney with questions).
