
@MizzouBaseball, @MizzouSoftball Will Host Fight Hunger Charity Softball Game

Game will benefit a pair of local charities
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball and Mizzou Softball will play a seven-inning, fast-pitch softball game against one another on Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mizzou Softball Stadium. The game will serve as a charity event, benefiting the Tiger Pantry. Fans wishing to attend can bring canned food donations or cash donations to benefit the Tiger Pantry.
The Tiger Pantry is a partner agency of The Food Bank For Central & Northeast Missouri.
The game will be a seven-inning, fun-spirited affair during which Mizzou fans can watch the baseball team take on the softball team in a head-to-head, fast-pitch competition. This is the first time that Mizzou has ever hosted a baseball vs. softball game and all Mizzou fans are encouraged to check out the action. The game was introduced by Mizzou's Athletic Department and Mizzou Baseball Coach Steve Bieser and Softball Coach Ehren Earleywine jumped at the opportunity to host the game.
